Blog 02a Revolution

The revolution in Egypt was caused by a number of things that involves technology. These factors helped the rebellion leaders to communicate auch as Wael Ghonim, a leader in Google Middle East who communicated only through the use of social networking. Facebook contributed hugely to accelerating the rebellion. The horrible treatment of Egyptian citizens by their own government was widely displayed on facebook. Thus the usage of social networks such as facebook, twitter, and youtube allowed for citizens to connect and display dicontent about the Mubarak regime.
