In this Project we were given an list of options we could chose from, where we would have to design and construct a program that would run efficiently according to the specifications. The group and me decided to create a program that would set off an alarm and time for a track meet.
A group effort, we had to brainstorm and think about what types of programming we could possibly use. That was definitely the most difficult part. Until Mr. Olson had assisted the group with a sheet on styles of programming, we really had no clue on how we could have calibrated the program to go off when the sensor was set off. As I said it was totally a group effort, Nate and Kody were extremely helpful when it came to finding the parts and creating the contraption. We all had a huge impact and without each other this project would have gone nowhere.
We finally began to understand what types of programming we should use after Mr. Olson gave us the programming packet. However; it was too late and we had moved on to the next project. We were able to begin a timer program however it never worked so thus I designed a new type of programming after Mr. Olson's lesson, maybe it would have worked.

Questions:
1) What was the most difficult part of the problem?
Definitely the programming. We just had no clue what we should do of where we should plug it the variable's in to repeat the process until the sensor was tripped.
2) List and describe two features that were not part of the design problem that could be added to improve your design.
What would have been helpful is a push in the right direction for programming and the packet my group received about the programming from the get go.
